The Maiden's Tower

The Maiden's Tower at Leeds Castle

Place setting in the Maiden's Tower at Leeds Castle

Available from October 2010, the Maiden’s Tower is a wonderful new venue on the castle island. Originally a Tudor bake house, until recently the Tower was the home of the last private owner’s daughter.

Today, the building has been fully refurbished and redecorated in beautiful period style, offering self-contained accommodation for weddings. The imposing entrance hall with an extraordinary wall hanging by Raoul Dufy opens up into two tapestry-hung large rooms, both with huge fireplaces and polished oak floorboards.

In fine weather, the French doors can be opened onto the garden, offering private outdoor space. The Tower can be used throughout the day, and is entirely separate from the day visitor route with good disabled access to all facilities on the ground floor.
